Relationship to makers: Teacher like me. 

Sarah Lewis Robinson was born in late 1863 or early 1864. Her brother was born in New Zealand in 1865, which would suggest that the family migrated when Sarah was a baby. 

Sarah worked as a teacher her whole life: first at Waddington School and then as headmistress of Phillipstown School from 1891-1918. Sarah never married. She died in 1950 and is buried in Avonside, Christchurch.
