Colleen Rogers (born Gray in 1940) is the matriarch of the Rogers/Gray family. She was the wife of Tom Rogers, is the mother of Julie, Grant, and Tony, the beloved grandmother of Bailey, Caitlin, Ruaidhri, Zoe, Alex, Jimmy, and Sofia, and great grandmother to Ailbe.

The women of the Rogers family have worked on this panel together to show our love, appreciation, and admiration for a woman who represents the same qualities as the suffrage women. They fought for equity and justice in Aotearoa all those years ago. She has forged a path for the women of the Rogers family to be strong, independent and compassionate. She has played a pivotal role in the lives of our whole family.

“She is a renowned singer, roast-potato extraordinaire, hair critic, and has the unique talent of being able to talk through every TV show she watches”. This panel was a small way that we could show her how much she means to us.
